No Shit

In a rare moment of honesty, Rob Nicholson articulated Stephen Harper's governing style :
"We don't govern on the basis of statistics," Nicholson said. "We govern on the basis of what we hear from the public and what law enforcement agencies tell us. That has not changed in the four and a half years we've been in government."
Rather than govern on the basis of facts and reason, this government rules by anecdote and hearsay. I am glad Mr. Nicholson cleared that up for the two or three people in the country who didn't understand the fucking obvious.

  1. I guess Nicholson hasn't heard that law enforcement agencies are telling them to keep the gun registry.

  2. Well, to be fair, he does list anecdotal evidence before law enforcement agencies. With this crowd, the motto is "When in doubt, go with the wisdom of the legion hall in Red Deer".
