Wheelin' And Dealin'

Warren smells a dirty deal. He may be right, but not I suspect, with Layton. As a side note, I wonder if Warren had a hand in the mini-parade following Layton around? I suspect not. Why give the fourth party the satisfaction of knowing you might be worried about them? Warren strikes me as being too smart to give anything away.

Update: Now that we know there was no deal, how long will it be before a Liberal affects boredom with the whole thing and claims that it was just another case of Layton trying to get attention? Not long is my guess.

Update 2: I guess I was wrong. I guess Warren won't let reality get in the way of an entertaining fiction. He is having his own "keep the government's hands off my medicare" moment.

Harper On The National

Well, I watched "Sweater Strategy II: The Humaning" on the National last night. Harper was all warm and fuzzy and "let's get together for the good of Canada". Blech. Sorry, I threw up in my mouth a little. His eyes though, could not hide the seething anger at being challenged by the "conspiracy". He will do what he can to get Ignatieff to dump the coalition and then he will dispatch Ignatieff. It was as clear as the smirk on his face.

From The Department Of "I Wish I Hadn't Done That"

Liberals are licking their lips at the chance of going after Maxime Bernier. A word of warning. If you don't think the Tories are pouring over things like this, looking for choice quotes, think again. They will use Iggy's past as a club, to fend off your attacks. Either you will have to find a way to neutralize their club, or you will have to leave the attacks to the Bloc and NDP.
