False Start

I agree with Chantal Hebert. Ontario still sees itself as the economic heart of Canada. Ontarians want to know how the parties are going to get that heart beating again. EI reform (which I agree is absolutely necessary) is not a solution to Ontario's problem, so the Liberals (and the NDP) should not be surprised it is not harvesting them votes. Until someone comes up with a bright idea to save its economy, Ontario is going to be up for grabs.

What A Night

Well that was a bit of a disaster, wasn't it? Needless to say, that was my last vote in an Ontario election. I will still vote federally, since the parties get money for the votes they collect (thanks Jean!), but I won't vote again provincially as long as we keep FPTP. I live in a Tory riding and I have better things to do with my time.

Andrew Coyne is right.

Update:The voter turnout was about 50% in this election. Good luck convincing people to show up to the next one.
