Just because we are giving up control of our borders, that doesn't mean we are less sovereign. After all, we will still have our own hockey team at the Olympics. Integrating sports teams will come later.

Path To Prorogation

Let's just say I would not be surprised if the Harperites announced the new "security perimeter" over Christmas and then prorogued (or, more likely, the other way round) until the budget in the spring.
