How does one explain why Helena Guergis would choose to go to a cocktail party rather than visit a citizen in jail? The answer is, we will never know. This government is not for explaining. So, why don't we speculate? My guess is, Guergis is a secret foodie and she found out they were serving "Churros to die for", and she just couldn't help herself.
