Harper To Sex Trade Workers

If you are a prostitute you have chosen to give up your rights as a citizen of Canada.

How the hell do you have no obligation to protect any citizen, even one whose lifestyle you oppose?

  1. Moral Philosopher Jonathan Glover in the link below talks about that 1% of our population who seem to fit some evolutionary niche. Maybe good for the species in famines, when, for the good of the species, we need an intraspecies cull. If organizations need to lie, these are the best liars because every day they pretend that they care about another. They don't care, because they can't care. They may learn about morality, but what is interesting according to the book Moral Minds a higher authority can flip them back to their prime directive, let people die. The moral philosopher seems to indicate they would be good reformed Conservatives. They give deference to higher authority figures, they support tough on crime including the death penalty, even those that have taken some initiative and done some culling. You listen to it this. Is it is easy to be one of these and be conservative or liberal. Might explain our reformed conservative abandoning of sex workers as being people, they are just not the right thinks to be Canadians.

  2. "In a legal brief filed with the Ontario Court of Appeal, government lawyers argue that the state does not owe prostitutes a promise of safety if they choose a profession that is fraught with danger."

So then why do we have health and safety regulations for the mining and oil industries, just to name two, or for that matter measures to protect police officers and firefighters, who "choose a profession that is fraught with danger."

They don't agree with health and safety laws in any form. They are suggesting if you get hurt, it is your own fault and no one else is responsible for you. It is good, old fashioned, bare-knuckled capitalism, circa 1810.
