Charm Offensive
Conservatives to the women of Canada: "Shut the fuck up', or else. I thought, as a country, we were past the point of threatening women with violence, even metaphorically .

I wouldn't have phrased it quite the way that particular senatrix did.
ReplyDeleteI'd have said, "If you want to push for abortions overseas, raise your own damn money."
(And I would have pointed to the poll showing that a plurality of Canadians (48-46) did not want to fund abortions overseas.)
