Otherwise, in the event of a future terrorist attack, critics may blame his decision to rein in C.I.A. interrogators.The Obamaites have to discredit torture? Really? I guess I shouldn't be amazed by this, but I am. America's paper of record is openly calling on the President to prove that torture is ineffective, rather than condemning the practice as a wrong in and of itself.
