The issue was neutralized with that vote in the last policy convention. (55% favoured no law on abortion, defeating a proposed plank to put limitations in the last trimester.)
ReplyDeleteNow, it's true that the PM, the Justice Minister, and a majority of the delegates in the last policy convention could have been lying through their teeth (no, really -- like when Harper pulled the nation resolution out to wrong-foot the Bloc), but it's not something that the electorate will readily believe.
