The Obama Administration is a typical liberal enterprise. First, it cries rivers of tears for torture victims, but lets the torturers get away with their crimes. Now, it is carrying on the kangaroo court system set up by Chaneyco in Cuba (all the while deploring the original system). Ah liberals, they love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning.
Meanwhile: Jack Layton still wants to become Canada's Obama. God help us all.

ReplyDeleteThere is, of course, an alternative possible read of this -- that there is something significant in that fact that when people like Obama and Pelosi are faced with actually taking responsibility for the big decisions themselves, they tend towards following Bush's policies...
Fixed. Thanks Ben. I think Obama has surrounded himself with Clintonites who are more Republican than Republicans (though both sides would deny it). Also, I think he is taking this whole Lincoln thing a bit too far. He is sacrificing the U.S.'s reputation in order to avoid a divisive fight with Republicans over torture and Gitmo and to advance his domestic agenda. He wants healthcare and he doesn't care how many Muslims have to suffer to get it.
