Who Is Affected By The Death Of The Gun Registry

People like Elaine Lumley. NDP members take note of her opinion about the party. I think it is universal aside from the members of hunting clubs of Canada.

Update: Jennie points out in the comments that I should say long gun registry. I thought it was clear from the context, but if you are confused, I mean long gun registry.

  1. If you are calling this "the death of the gun registry" instead of "the death of the long gun registry", you are no longer being rational enough to have a reasonable conversation with. Sorry, Greg. I'm outta here.

  2. Sorry to see you go, Jennie. Nothing personal. We just disagree profoundly about an issue I care about.

Although Greg made what appears to be a minor error, it's actually quite right. If the long gun registry serves no purpose then neither does the hand gun registry. The gun lobby will point this out and I'd be willing to bet they will challenge the hand gun registry in the Supreme Court of Canada on the grounds that it discriminates against hand gun owners. So this very well may be the death of the gun registry just as Greg wrote.
