I Drink Coffee
Does anyone else see the irony in the glorification of the modern Tea Party, by the idiot squad surrounding Rob Ford, in a country founded by people running away from the thugs responsible for the original?

Any time I've heard someone talk of a Tea Party North, I've asked them the same thing -- "Do you think this will fly in the land of United Empire Loyalists?"
ReplyDeleteOntario's motto, after all, is "Loyal she began, loyal she remains", and her flag is the Red Ensign.
But in fairness, you'll have to agree that none of the Ford people are saying that this is a Tea Party movement. That label in the article is coming from others.
That's a lot like Newt Gringrich accusing Obama of being an anti-colonial.
